Some of the most profound words in all of scripture are found in Matthew 28:6. As Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Jospeh approach the tomb of Jesus, an angel tells them “He is not here, for he has risen.” The resurrection is the cornerstone of the Gospel message. Let’s consider the impact the resurrection has on The Gospel.
