Who We Are
Serving the hurting, Leading the seeking, Building family, Inspiring our community.
The Church of Christ is the body of people who have come to believe in the Lord Jesus and have committed to following His teachings found in the Holy Scriptures.
We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and provides a complete set of guidelines for living.
Since God has given us such a great gift, we devote ourselves to reading, studying, knowing, and teaching the scriptures. It is through these scriptures that we have found salvation in our Lord, Jesus Christ.
As such, we spend a great deal of time studying our bibles so we may know how to live our lives in a way that pleases God. Here are some of the activities you will find Christians participating in.
WORSHIP
The most important work we do as Christians is to worship God. That is, we praise Him and give honor to His name. God has done so many great works and blessed us so richly. He created the earth and all that is in it.
He continually provides for our physical needs
Most importantly, He gave His Son as a sacrifice so we might be saved and have the hope of eternal life
For all He has done for us, we cannot help but worship His great name. Some of our acts of worship are described below...
SINGING
STUDYING
PRAYER
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 - James 5:16
COMMUNION
BENEVOLENCE
In the early days of the church, Christians shared their possessions with each other so that each brother and sister might have enough to meet their needs.
They also sent gifts to the poor saints in different regions Today, we follow these examples as shown in the scriptures.
EDIFICATION
As Christians, it is our responsibility to edify or build each other up. Since we are brothers and sisters in Christ, we ought to love one another.
Because of this love, we seek to encourage one another to love and good works so that we might all attain eternal life after our time here. We do this through study of the scriptures, kind words, and good works.
TEACHING
We always appreciate the opportunity to study the Bible. If you would like to know more about these scriptures and about God’s plan for the salvation of man, please contact us (Info@KalispellChurchofChrist.org). We would love to hear from you.
